Creativity is a
area that has fascinated me since I am interested in
personal development, hypnosis and NLP. What intrigues me is the
capacity of the underlying structure that we believe or extraordinary
extra-ordinary.
Creativity is an interesting area to explore, as so few people know
are creative. And restrictions on creativity of ideas
often appeared as a result of some simple questions.
What I mean by"Limitations"? Many popular assumptions about creativity that can be very limited.
A common idea is that there is something like a "creative person"
implies that creatives are born, not made. If you refuse to
believes that opens the possibility that someone could learn to be
more creative.
More creative? Is this not mean that we are all creative in one way or another?
This brings us to the following constraints – rigid idea of whatform
creativity. If the term applies only to musicians, artists and writers?
Or the brilliant inventor? Or engineers can and tennis players to be creative
too?
What is creativity?
It 'important that we develop an operational definition of creativity
To focus on a meaningful way. The dictionary defines creativity
three ways:
Marked first by the ability or power to create: given to creating
The first definition refers tocapacity or the ability to travel
something new. Does not describe how – and the word "How" implies a
process.
2 Quality of something created rather than imitating
The important part of this second definition is that it is a
The distinction between "your" and "emulate anything with a line
drawn to the two separate.
Betty Edwards denies the correctness of the definition in its
excellent book on the basis ofRight side of the brain. "Think
this:
Is showing a picture of a "creative? You copy a drawing of a scene
"Creative"? That the copy of the current scene? In the latter example
other than a landscape painting? Where is the line drawn
between creation and imitation?
Third gain control, so that the conventional boundaries
This is the "think outside the box", you hear so much about.
"Limitations of conventional" is ambiguousterm and can mean 'normal
limits "or" boundary by agreement or consent. "From a practical
perspective, and given the limitations.
The creativity of this sort of thing may participate, as
previously considered impossible, since the breaking of the sound
obstruction. If this definition could also apply to violations of
Agreement established with each new artistic movement. Impressionism
Cubism and standards is addressed earlier in art, example.
Given these definitions:
Think you're creative?
What creative resources that we do all this?
How do you know how to be creative, / may be?
There are ways to get more creative. Most approaches focus on strategies
for creativity – and there are many. But almost all
seem to fall into four broad categories. This section looks
first category – Generation.
Before New ideas -"Generation"
Creativity after generation, is the process of developing new ideas. I
recently read an article that looked back at the weather
published in 1960 about how life would be in 2000.
Although it was possible many of the technologies that we provide
Today, some things are a surprise and novelty. Mobiles
and the World Wide Web are just two examples of drugs
thinking.
Iaware that some people may say that a phone is not
novel – it is just a phone "best" is not it? I think
Saying "there is nothing new under the sun" is largely confined
their ability to create. It 's a bit like saying that there could be
nothing new in literature, because all use the same 26 letters of
alphabet!
My point is that it is difficult to learn, and if you write
agreement. An important part of alearning environment
prevent people to distinguish the similarity too quickly.
I'll give you an example. I used to teach chemistry at the end of the year
grade students. Speaking to an audience difficult! The prevailing attitude
were:
We talk about X
X is very similar to Y
I know all of Y.
Willingness to learn ceased for the most part, since they have just ordered for
agreement. For the channels of learning, it was necessary
encouragecompare what they really knew what
a – a different approach to sorting.
If you see the world through a filter of difference there are new
ideas of all time. A small difference in results gradual change –
A 'a bit better paper clip, for example. Generation requires a large
difference – leads to something new.
This creative strategy is great for solving problems – many of us
innovations have been developedas a solution to a pressing problem.
Let us put it to work.
Tutorial: Build Troubleshooting
Do you have a (practical) problem without solution now? If you want a better way to do something?
Use one of the following strategies:
Magic pill Scenario
Ask yourself:
"If you have a magic pill to wake up to take
morning with the problem completely solved, what wouldchange? "
It is assumed that there is a solution and you are free to explore
for you what your changes. It 'also an explicit
asked to focus on the differences between "state issue" and
'State Solution'.
Learning from the future
Imagine a time in the future when the problem is solved or the goal is reached.
Bring your own imagination of the future, knowing that one day will be areality.
Make sure the end result is satisfactory. If not, change until you are completely satisfied.
Now look back at this and mark all events
occurred before the outcome – measures which have allowed
achieve it.
Be aware of what you've done every step of the way and let the mind fill in the details as you go.
Now you know what you will get and have a complete plan.
MoreIdeas
These are just some ways you can use strategies
generate new results and problems in the process. As I said
before, there are many approaches to creativity. And you can use this
strategies for new creative ways.
The next time explore the second category of creativity – Synthesis.
